The March Madness games have begun! Follow PLL all month to place bets on who you think the swooniest boy in YA is!
Each contestant has been carefully chosen by the PLL Trendsetters and the PLL story architects. Join us each week to learn why each YA boy made the cut, and let us know in the comments if you agree or disagree.
You voted for your favorites in Round 1 of Swoon Madness and now we’re picking back up with Round 2 of DYSTOPIAN DREAMBOATS! These boys know they may lose against their totalitarian governments, but they’re going to win some hearts first.
Alex: Alex is selflessness. He wants Lena from the start, and even though loving her puts both their lives at risk, he would do anything for her. He puts everything on the line to show her how beautiful she is. And he has made me cry. A lot. (PLL Trendsetter Corinne)
Peeta: Peeta is one of the kindest characters that have ever been created. Even when Katniss doesn’t truly love him back in the beginning of the series, he treats her with intense care and tries his best to protect her despite her protests. No matter how Katniss acts, Peeta is always patient and loving in return. (PLL Trendsetter Caitlin)
Gale: The boy next door in a dystopian world. Can’t live with him, can’t hunt without him.
Gabriel: If you’re unhappy in your arranged marriage, win over Gabriel’s kind heart and he’ll be your quiet hero.
Tobias: He’s a dark character with a dark past, and often has ulterior motives, but he can be sweet and loves Tris so much, and would rather sacrifice himself than see her hurt. Tobias is definitely one of my favorite romantic boys in all of the books I’ve read. He sees Tris for who she really is, believes in her, and allows her to be who she wants to be. Tobias is a true gentleman around Tris, and doesn’t push too far, allowing her to set the limits between them. (PLL Trendsetter Bre)
Adam: Adam is amazing. Just. I’m speechless; I love him so much. Maybe it’s the impossibly blue eyes. Maybe it’s the fact that he’s six feet of power and muscle. Maybe it’s that he’s so ridiculously good and strong and so willing to fight for what he wants. Whatever it is, I love it.
Liam: Liam is, by far, one of the sweetest male protagonists/love interests I’ve ever read about. With his penchant for oldies and nicknames (he calls Ruby, the protagonist, Ruby Tuesday and himself the Ramblin’ Man after the Allman Brothers’ song) and indefatigable sense of humor, Liam is definitely a catch. More than that he’s willing to take risks to be with the girl he loves, even if it means he could get hurt. And he’s so honest… I’ll take one to go, please. (PLL Trendsetter Emily)
Perry: Attractive AND wields a bow and arrow? Yes please!
VOTING ENDS TOMORROW NIGHT AT 9PM EST!
